The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit raided the video gaming parlor located at 25 Van Campen Blvd. A total of 48 video gaming machines were seized from the parlor. At the time of the raid there were approximately 15 people in the business. Their names were recorded but they were not cited at this time. Two employees and the owner were cited with promoting, operating or conducting a server-based electronic game promotion. Sheriff McMahon stated, “Ample warnings have been given out to the owners of the parlors, now we are aggressively enforcing the law.”
