The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Unit conducted a brief investigation after receiving complaints that an individual was selling narcotics from a local business. Detectives arrested Jarvon Andre Everett an employee of the Chick-fil-a at Market Street and New Centre Drive after they witnessed him sell heroin out the back door. As detectives prepared to approach Everett, their timing could not have been better. Everett’s source of supply for heroin pulled into the back parking lot and the two exchanged packages of chicken. Darion Jerod Graham was observed giving Everett a Bojangles chicken box which contained fifty bags of heroin. Graham and the driver of the car he arrived in, Tashawna Sade Robinson were arrested along with Everett. Graham had in excess of one thousand dollars in cash at the time of his arrest and he is currently unemployed. All of the individuals were taken to the New Hanover Detention Facility. Darion Jerod Graham is a validated gang member (Bloods) and as such will be referred to Federal authorities for prosecution.
