Vice and Narcotics Detectives Seize Cocaine Operation
The New Hanover County Vice and Narcotics unit wrapped up an extensive investigation which resulted in three men charged with multiple counts of trafficking cocaine. Robles-Amaral, Abel, a 24 year old Hispanic male, Solis-Islas, Zenon, a 27 year old Hispanic male, and Santos, Justino Solis, a 32 year old Hispanic male were all arrested on multiple trafficking cocaine charges. The investigation began in January. Robles was arrested in the 5700 block of Market St. late Monday night. Solis-Islas
And Santos were both arrested Monday night on Farley Road.
According to Captain Ciamillo, the three men were responsible for selling significant amounts of cocaine in Wilmington. “The investigation allowed us to connect all three suspects into a substantial cocaine trafficking ring”. Federal agencies have been contacted and are assisting with follow up investigations regarding the suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
