After a month long investigation of Tierre Henderson, NHSO Vice and Narcotics Detectives seized the largest amount of heroin in NHSO history. On Wednesday, January 9th, Detectives arrested Henderson with 300 bags of heroin along with a large amount of drug paraphernalia. The bags of heroin were stamped “Breaking Dawn” and “Dream Catcher”. The heroin seized has a street value of more than $9000.00.
Detectives continued their investigation of Henderson which led them to Chrissy Joy Sinclair and a residence in Holly Ridge. With the assistance of the Holly Ridge Police Department, a search of the home was executed and 5.5 ounces of pure uncut heroin was seized along with $60,000 in cash. The heroin would produce over 15,000 bags of heroin on the streets of New Hanover County. Both Tierre Henderson and Chrissy Sinclair are in the New Hanover County Detention Facility.
“Each one of these bags represents a life that was saved by not allowing this poison to hit the streets of New Hanover County”, said Sheriff Ed McMahon.
