The clerk reports a black male entered the business, brandished a handgun, and demanded money. The suspect then left the business with an undisclosed amount of cash and left the area in a black Honda passenger car.
An officer from the Wilmington Police Department spotted the vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on Market Street. Additional officers responded and observed two black males exiting the vehicle in the area of Wolcott Avenue & S. 21st Street where they were immediately detained.
Kevin Terod Holland (left), 21-year old of Greensboro, and Keenan Edward Hairston (right), 20-year old of Wilmington, has both been charged with Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon and Conspiracy to commit Robbery with a Dangerous Weapon. Both Holland and Hairston remain in custody at the New Hanover County Detention Facility, each under a $100,000 secured bond.
