Sergeant C.L. Wilson has served the citizens of New Hanover County for nearly 14 years and has served his country in Iraq. “He has served overseas in war time and his local community with the sheriff’s office and he is very deserving of this award,” said Sheriff Ed McMahon.
Throughout his tenure with the Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Wilson has taken on key roles to include Patrol, Vice & Narcotics, Sheriff’s Alcohol Field Enforcement Unit and now as commander of the Emergency Response Team.
