Sheriff McMahon Participates in the Carolina Beach Neighbors Night Out
NEW HANOVER – Sheriff Ed McMahon is pleased to participate in the Carolina Beach “Neighbors Night Out” on Tuesday, August 4, 2009. Carolina Beach will celebrate the National Night Out (NNO) with thousands of other communities during their Neighbors Night Out event. On Tuesday, August 4, 2009 at 7pm, residents are invited to the Carolina Beach Boardwalk to meet New Hanover County Sheriff Ed McMahon, Kure Beach Police Chief Cooper and Carolina Beach Police Chief Younginer, along with members of the Police Advisory Committee. The Sheriff’s Office’s Community Services Unit will be on-hand providing Child ID Kits to parents. The “CB Neighbors Night Out” is a localized expansion of the National Night Out, a unique crime and drug prevention event where citizens and law enforcement agencies demonstrate their commitment to prevent crime in their communities. “CB Neighbors Night Out” is sponsored by the Carolina Beach Police Department and Police Advisory Committee.
