The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office will hold an auction on Wednesday October 20, 2021, at 2 pm in front of the New Hanover County Courthouse 316 Princess Street, Wilmington, North Carolina, by the courthouse steps.
The real property being sold is described as that certain tract of land lying and being in Wrightsville Beach, New Hanover County, North Carolina, and being more particularly described as follows: Being all of Lot 34A, Section A, Parmele Isles, as shown in map book 4421 page 646-649, New Hanover County Registry, reference to which is hereby made for more particular description. Currently has a mailing address of 111 Parmele Boulevard, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480. Only that interest of George S. Laney and Sharon M. Laney as co-owners with others in that property is being sold.
This property is being sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” and said sale shall be subject to all superior liens, mortgages, easements, encumbrances, unpaid taxes, and special assessments which were or became effective on the record prior to the lien of the judgment under which this sale is being held. There is a deed of trust or mortgage on file with the Register of Deeds on this property. The sale shall be held open for ten days for the filing of upset bids as required by law. No sale is final until confirmed by the Clerk of Superior Court of the issuing county.
