On March 8, 2002, the body of Rose Marie Mallette was located behind MCO Transport, off of Highway U.S. 421 N. Mallette was reported missing on September 15, 2001. Mallette suffered from blunt force trauma to the head. Mallette was 27 years old at the time of her death and left behind numerous family members.
