Along some of our walking trails, you'll find outdoor fitness stations. Equipment varies from park to park with stations for exercises such as pull-ups, bench presses, dips, sit-ups, and leg presses. It's like going to the gym, only free! Fitness Stations are located at:
- Kings Grant Park
- Long Leaf Park
- Ogden Park
- Smith Creek Park
The City of Wilmington operates the Boxing and Physical Fitness Center, located at 302 South 10th Street. This indoor center offers free weights, universal equipment, treadmills, stationary bikes, stairmasters, personal and group training, and a variety of exercise classes. There is a nominal membership fee to use the Boxing Center.
