Yes, the cost is $9 for adults, $5 for NHC Residents and Military, and $3 for children aged 4 to 12 years. Admission is free for NHC Residents on the first Sunday of every month. (Proof of ID is needed for NHC Residents and Military.)
Fishing and kayaking are not daily experiences offered at the gardens. We do offer kayaking and fishing programs through the Environmental Education Program. Please check the events calendar to view a list of our scheduled programs.
No, we only allow parking at Trails End Park for those who are utilizing the boat slip to actively fish. However, the park itself closes at sunset. River Road Park closes at sunset and does not allow overnight parking.
Yes! The Splashpad is accessible to anyone using a mobility device. We also have a water wheelchair that can be used by those whose mobility devices cannot tolerate moisture. Contact the parks and gardens office at 910-798-7620 to use the water wheelchair.
