NHSO Needs Your Help Catching Father-Son Suspects

The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is currently searching for a father/son duo who are suspects in a multitude of larcenies.  Stephen Clegg Ridley and his son Zachary R Ridley are the suspects in a slew of larcenies that encompasses all of New Hanover County.  The latest theft was at 2217 Castle Hayne Rd, the victim came home to find two of his lawnmowers missing along with most of his tools.  The victim located his lawnmowers and tools at All Metal Recycling where the suspects had sold the property for scrap.  Once the victim returned home he found the two suspects in his back yard attempting to steal his stump grinder. The victim confronted the Ridleys who fled the scene in a white Ford F-150 license plate VNA-7844.  This is just one of many larceny cases the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is investigating involving the Ridleys.  Other communities suspected of being hit by the duo are the Monkey Junction area, Castle Hayne, inside the city and Ogden areas.  Anyone with any information on Stephen Clegg Ridley or his son Zachary R Ridley please contact the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office at 910-798-4162 or our tip line on the Sheriff’s website.
