Fourth Suspect in 2007 Homicide Arrested in Maryland

NEW HANOVER – New Hanover County Sheriff’s Detectives have received confirmation that Adam Elijah Ward, 21, has been taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal’ s Fugitive Task Force in Baltimore, MD.

Adam Elijah Ward, is charged with First Degree Murder, First Degree Burglary, First Degree Kidnapping, Attempted Armed Robbery and Felony Conspiracy, in connection with the 2007 homicide of Geoffrey Graham.

Nicholas John Matasich, 21, of Wilmington, Randy Travis Owens, 21, of Hampstead and Christian Dior Jones, 26, of Hampstead were charged with First Degree Murder in July of last year.

Ward is awaiting extradition to North Carolina.
