WRIGHTSBORO – A 911 call received just before 10:30 a.m., prompted Deputies response to a home invasion at 901 Horne Place Drive.
The victim told 911 Telecommunicators two men were actively breaking into her home. The victim went to a closet and continued to provide pertinent information, which was relayed to responding deputies.
Within three minutes of receiving the call, Deputies arrived and observed the vehicle, a short distance from the residence, attempting to flee the area. Responding Deputies stopped the vehicle and detained three suspects without incident or injury. Property that belonged to the victim was found inside the vehicle.
Dramone Ali-Terrick, 19, and Roger Scott McKiver, 18, both of Wilmington were charged with two counts of felony breaking and entering, two counts of larceny, two counts of conspiracy and contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Ali-Terrick and McKiver were both processed at the New Hanover County Detention Facility with a $15,000 secured bond.
A third suspect was a 14-year old who will face charges through the juvenile court system.
