Narcotic Investigation Seizes 19lbs of Marijuana

NEW HANOVER – On Thursday, January 28, 2010 Detectives with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Vice & Narcotic Unit arrested four Wilmington men and charged them with numerous counts of drug trafficking.  The two month investigation ended with the seizure of 19lbs of marijuana, which has a street value of over $41,000.

Sheriff McMahon remains committed in the pursuit of drug traffickers and those who sell narcotics in New Hanover County, “We will continue to investigate and track down individuals that attempt to sell drugs in our communities,” said McMahon.

Juan Carols Morales, 34 of Wilmington, was charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, trafficking marijuana and conspiracy to sell drugs.

Antonio Jermane Williams, 33 of Wilmington, was charged with felony possession marijuana, maintaining a dwelling/vehicle for drugs, trafficking marijuana and conspire to sell marijuana.

Charles Terry Harvey, Jr., 28 of Wilmington, was charged with resisting a public officer, possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, trafficking marijuana and conspire to sell marijuana.

Marvin Gerald Waite, Jr., 27 of Wilmington, charged with possession with intent to sell and deliver marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, trafficking marijuana and conspire to sell marijuana.
