NEW HANOVER – On Thursday, December 30, 2009, Detectives with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Vice & Narcotic Unit arrested Rouenia Equilla Williams, 27, of Wilmington after she was found in possession of more than thirteen pounds of marijuana. The marijuana carries a street value of over $29,000. Detectives continued their investigation and obtained additional warrants for Kerigan Lamar Armond, 31, of Riegelwood.
Rouenia Williams, charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver marijuana, felony possession of marijuana, trafficking marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia, was released from the New Hanover County Detention Facility on Friday, December 31st after posting a $5,000 secured bond.
Kerigan Armond, charged with trafficking marijuana and conspire to sell marijuana, was released on January 8th from the New Hanover County Detention Facility after posting a $50,000 secured bond.
