Drug Investigation Seizes 4 Ounces of Cocaine

NEW HANOVER – Detectives with the New Hanover County Vice and Narcotics Division recently concluded a month-long investigation that led the arrest of two and the seizure of 4 ounces of cocaine, a street value of $11,000. The arrest occurred through on a traffic stop at 819 S. 3rd Street, Wednesday just after 7:00 p.m.

Milford Locklear (left), 34, of Lumberton was charged with trafficking cocaine, possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine, possession of marijuana and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance. Mr. Locklear remains in custody at the New Hanover County Detention Facility under a $500,000 secured bond.

Selina Lynn Locklear (right), 34, of Lumberton was charged with conspiring to traffic in cocaine, possession of marijuana and maintaining a vehicle/dwelling for a controlled substance. Selina Locklear was released from the Detention Facility after posting a $10,000 secured bond.

Captain David Ciamillo added, “Based on our investigation, we believe the suspects involved were responsible for distributing a large amount of cocaine to New Hanover County.”
